Blackshirt
Getting a thread going for KU pre-game talk. Now I'm really tempted to drop some low-brow line like "needless to say the only dominating force outta Lawrence so far this season has been Mangino's grip on his Golden Corral punch card"..... BUT, that would be far too easy and a little tasteless.. instead how bout somethin like, "just b/c they havent gotten out to a fast start, doesnt mean they dont have Big 12 caliber athletes, so we shouldnt take them lightly." no pun. seriously, I didnt mean to do that. Oh wtf, heres how theyve stacked up so far against their "competition". http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/teams/kka/schedule Quote Link to comment
Blackshirtsguru
I am not going to get cockey (not that you are) but until we prove to each team that we deserve to be 3-1 that's how I am going to approach the KU game. But man it's so hard not to fark the fat man! Quote Link to comment
DJR313
Cheesefries Mangino is going to come into Lincoln with high hopes and leave with indigestion. 41-13, another thorough asswhipping on our way to that town close to Lawrence...KANSAS CITY! Quote Link to comment

There's a guy on my other board I post on who's a big KU fan. I doubt I'll see much of him this week, or next. Quote Link to comment
IlliniHusker
If you take a team too lightly, you end up playing like Georgia did against Colorado. That is a game where a vastly suprior team came out and looked like the SEC doormat. Doubt that Cally will let that happen against KU because of the whopping they gave us last year. But, NU should not be taking any team for granted! Quote Link to comment

I see no problems going into this weekend, it's time to roll to a Big XII North Title!! Quote Link to comment

But, NU should not be taking any team for granted! I don't fear that at all. He makes Nicholls State seem like a national champ when talking about how great they are and the "playmakers" they have. I think the loss to them last year is enough motivation for the team on Saturday. Quote Link to comment

DaveH
I hope they have the score of last year's game up on the boards this week in practice. I hope that some of the students I had to sit next to last year come up here. Probably not; It's an "8 hour drive". I kid you not. At least Kansas will be playing in an actual college stadium. Lawrence reminds me of a high school stadium. Really. I'm not kidding. Maybe some of you who have been there can relate. Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
Just the start of another huge winning streak against them. Quote Link to comment
TrueHuskerFan
They lost to a mediocre team, barely beat two bad teams, and blew out another. We lost to the #2 team in the nation, and blew out 2 mediocre teams and a bad one. Does that balance out well for them??? Quote Link to comment
808Husker in KCMO
which one was the bad team we blew out? Quote Link to comment
