ttheKid1*18
Stewart Mandel has us in the Cotton Bowl, and if we lose I agree. The Cotton really wants a north team this year, and we would travel very well, like we would to any other game. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writ...1127/index.html Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Coach Callahan should have the team hyped up for the Fiesta Bowl. Beat OU and take all the guess work out of the bowl situation. Quote Link to comment
HANC
The latest that I have seen/heard cbs sportsline has NU vs Auburn in the Cotton (obviously picking OU in Big 12) Local sports talk radio this afternoon had NU vs Arkansas in Cotton.....possibly Auburn The host said that he would rather see NU play in the Cotton vs SEC team....much more respect there, instead of playing in Fiesta vs Boise St. His opinion was that Boise gives NU a "no-win" situation.... We would probably be ranked well below Boise, yet we would be favored..... If NU wins, "it was supposed to" and if NU gets beat, "it was by a WAC team. I still think if we don't go to Fiesta bowl, NU will land in Holiday, with Texas in Cotton and AM in Alamo. Quote Link to comment
Drowning_in_the_Sea_of_Red
I've heard a bunch of OU fans saying if they win then the Rose Bowl will take them instead because the Fiesta and Rose Bowls have some sort of deal or something, stupid. I'd have to agree that I would rather beat an SEC team than a WAC team, but Hell, it's still a BCS Bowl. Quote Link to comment

BIGREDIOWAN
Well I hope we win the game Saturday so we go to the Fiesta Bowl, but the Cotton bowl is still a damn good bowl!!!! Quote Link to comment

AgMarauder04
I'm hoping for a NU win, because then the Ags have a shot at the Cotton. If you lose, you will more than likely go pickin! Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
Does anyone know if the Cotton Bowl has had any representatives at a Husker game this year? Quote Link to comment
AgMarauder04
I don't know, but I'm sure they did...probably at Mizzou and CU Quote Link to comment
DJR313
Does anyone know if the Cotton Bowl has had any representatives at a Husker game this year? Not 100% sure that they have been at any games this year. Perhaps MU, but they have been watching the Huskers very closely this season. Quote Link to comment
Huskerfan55
Hell this guy has USC in a pre New years bowl what the hell does he know!!! Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
I was listening to the radio, and a writer for the Dallas Morning News said no matter who loses on Saturday, that team will be in the Cotton Bowl according to reps from the bowl. So it's either Fiesta Bowl or Cotton Bowl this year!! Quote Link to comment
