BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
I wish him the best. A young coach may be what they need and maybe he can make them competitive again. And I will enjoy it every year when we crush his teams into dust!!! Quote Link to comment
DJR313
The puffs think Watson sucked. Course you look at the base on which sCum is built and there ya go. If memory serves correct he was the oc when they kicked us 62-36 so he can't be all bad. You are correct sir. If this is true, congrats to Jay, It has to be a dream of his to have his own program. In the 3 seasons here at NU, the offense has come a long ways. Hopefully we keep getting better so we can pound ISU every year. Quote Link to comment
husker rob
hey, what is Barney Cotton going to be up to next year? could be a hidden gem to get as OC if it is true then good luck to Jay, but cut him loose now. cant have him recruiting for ISU while he is getting paid by NU. gotta go Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Well I hate to see it happen, but good for him. I think that ISU needs a younger more aggressive coach to get things turned around in Ames. Let's hope our next OC is outstanding and can take us to that next level...... Quote Link to comment

Syzygyone
If true, good for him. It looks like something he's targeted and worked toward. I wish him the best. Meanwhile: Quote Link to comment
huskerpt34
If true good for him. He has made it known since he came here he wanted to be a head coach. I just think it's unfourtunate that it has to be in our conference. Interesting to see if he will be able to help stop the WCO. Good Luck Jay! Quote Link to comment
