Huskerballz
Hey guys, here's a list of all the Big 12 teams playing in bowl games....look 'em over and predict how the conference will do in bowl play: Independence Bowl - Oklahoma State (6-6) vs. Alabama (6-6) Holiday Bowl - Cal (9-3) vs. Texas A&M (9-3) Texas Bowl - Rutgers (10-2) vs. Kansas St. (7-5) Sun Bowl - Missouri (8-4) vs. Oregon State (9-4) Insight Bowl - Texas Tech (7-5) vs. Minnesota (6-6) Alamo Bowl - Texas (9-3) vs. Iowa (6-6) Cotton Bowl - Auburn (10-2) vs. Nebraska (9-4) Fiesta Bowl - Oklahoma (10-2) vs. Boise St. (12-0) We have a pretty difficult bowl schedule...I'm having a hard time predicting the outcomes...unfortunately my gut is telling me that we're going to go 5-3....which is respectable, but we could do better. What do you guys think? Quote Link to comment

What do you guys think? WoW Rutgers TOTALY got the shaft! They go from being possible National Champ qualified and they end up with KSU. Quote Link to comment
Pedro Guerrero
How the f#*k did Rutgers get stuck playing K State? It is kind of like the Texas/Iowa game or maybe it has to do with being the third rated team in the Big East. They should have lined up Texas/Rutgers IMO. Quote Link to comment

What do you guys think? I dont know on the indy bowl. If OSU gets anything on offense rolling, they win. Bama could be a mess too. Inbetween coachs and all. Holiday should be a great game.but kinda hard to predict. If they can keep the mental toughness they had vs Texas, they can win. Should be a close nailbiter. Rutgers should take care of KSU without any problems. Too much defense, and the power running game will keep the ball away from KSU. Mizzou vs OSU - i'm seeing lots of points and MU should beable to win this. Insight - Can tech break our record for points scored in a bowl game is the only question here. Alamo - If McCoy is healthy it's an easy win. If they are using a WR at QB, they probly win a very very close one. Cotton - we can win this. Feista - Should be embarasment time for Boise. Overall the only one I cant see the big12 having a chance at is KSU vs Rutgers. Quote Link to comment

HuskerfaninOkieland
How the f#*k did Rutgers get stuck playing K State? Don't you mean "How the f#*k is K-State worthy of playing Rutgers?" Independence Bowl - Oklahoma State (6-6) vs. Alabama (6-6) Okie State Holiday Bowl - Cal (9-3) vs. Texas A&M (9-3) I have to go with Cal as much as I would like to see A&M win Texas Bowl - Rutgers (10-2) vs. Kansas St. (7-5) Rutgers Shiano has his boys playing very well Sun Bowl - Missouri (8-4) vs. Oregon State (9-4) Oregon St. Insight Bowl - Texas Tech (7-5) vs. Minnesota (6-6) Minnesota. Tech has been hit or miss all season Alamo Bowl - Texas (9-3) vs. Iowa (6-6) Gotta go with Texas I think Colt will be healed enough to play Cotton Bowl - Auburn (10-2) vs. Nebraska (9-4) call it a homer pick, but I have to go with Nebraska Fiesta Bowl - Oklahoma (10-2) vs. Boise St. (12-0) as much as it pains me...OU I don't think BSU stands a chance Quote Link to comment
FBWillie
How the f#*k did Rutgers get stuck playing K State? As Ronald McDonald would say... I'm Love'n it. We lose? No big deal, we were supposed to. We win? Kansas State upsets an ESPN Darling. With a crappy 7-5 record, this is the best matchup we could have asked for. B-E-A-UTIFUL! Quote Link to comment

What do you guys think? Independence: OSU offense big over the struggling Tide Holiday: I wish A&M could pull this off, but the Pac 10 has to win at least one game Texas Bowl: Rutgers, Freeman will keep the cats close, but not close enough Sun Bowl: Mizzou Insight: Texas Tech will hang at least 45 on the gophers Alamo: Texas could play Mack Brown at QB and still win big Cotton: of course, Huskers in a close one Fiesta: Sooners will play a close first half and then roll in the second half Quote Link to comment
