Being cops we got pretty damn cocky and well to make a long story short we were told that we could no longer play football because to many people were getting hurt. We weren't playing flag though it was full contact. We had a couple guys with separated shoulders, twisted knees, sprained ankles. So we decided to play basketball every weekend instead...............first weekend one of the guys broke his arm!!!! We had a football team and ended up putting more guys out on workmens comp then we normally do in 3 years. Someone actually said it would be cheaper for the fireman to get fat and die of a heart attack then to let us continue to play football.
