vondre transfering

Recommended Posts

again Vondre Tostensen is transfering to Millard South, first it was central, then prep, now South, I am questioning his character if he has to keep transfering to a better school, Millard South will have a nice combo at reciever Kildow and Tostenson will be hard to stop, possibly the best two in-state recuirts in Nebraska for 09 if vondre doesn't move to another state

Do you guys have a rule down there for transferring? MN is trying to pass one....it states that if you transfer you have to sit out for half of season/year. There has been a lot of transferring up here/recruiting kids from an AAU team all to one high school.

The main question is, what does this teach these kids? If they are lucky enough to receive a college scholarship and things start to not go the way they want, are they going to jump ship just like they have done their entire high school career?

there is no rule per say but there are district rules and if the school is not "open" which means they can accpet more kids or "closed" which means the only wat=y you can go there is if you live in the school's district boundries

and I agree that it is bad for kids to get what they want, therefore they also get what they want, just ask Harrison Beck, Brett Mussin, and Leon Jackson

Well in the article it said he is having severe family issues right now. So I doubt it has anything to do with his character. It just sounds like he is having some trouble, which would affect any young kids life. It appears he is trying his best and you cant really blame him for his family problems. His grandpa said that he has his heart set on going to Nebraska and they have a meeting set up with Callahan tom. to explain to him why he has attended three schools.

swapping high schools and moving around (Witt as an example) has become more and more common place, as kids/parents are trying to place kids in prefered/positive spots, BEFORE they even attend college. next up, moving kids around to get them in the"right" pee-wee league. welcome to the ridiculous world of high profile, high dollar football!

This has been happening with High Profile basketball players nationally for a long time.

Crap Tim Tebow's parents rented an apartment so he could go to the High School he went to. Corey Young transferred his senior year to Millard North. Kids go to different schools all the time. Hopefully this kids family can work their stuff out and people shouldn't jump on him if that is why he is switching schools.
