The way some in the media talk we might as well just give USC the trophy and let everyone else play for second place.

 

BUT NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND...(boy do I feel cheap for using that line)...

 

I predict the Trojans will lose 2-3 games because if they lose one they will pack it in on a couple of others.

 

And the first loss comes in Lincoln...just a feeling I have about this Husker team.

I have to agree with you. I will never say we do not have a chance to win and the Huskers are going to be a suprise to a lot of people. I am not saying we are national title contenders but we are going to show that we belong with the big boys again.

Why should I let go of the truth

 

 

You have no idea what the truth is. Sure there a LOT of suspicious activity swriling around Reggie Bush, but that is Reggie Bush and not USC. As for Sanchez, sure it stinks a little but lest you forget Nebraska had plenty of questionble activity like that around not all that along ago (Vedral and others). Everything else in your signature regarding crooked boosters and the like are purely specualtion. It also makes you look like a whiny hypocrite when the very same school you support could be (and was) accused of the same things during thier dynasty.

 

And for the record I dislike USC and Pete Carroll as much as anyone, thier most fervent fans are frontrunners who didn't attend school there, and yes, most of the alums are cocky as hell too. But I would rather see NU just walk in on the 15th and handle thier business without anyone pouting and stomping around that there is some conspiracy to keep USC on the top when it simply does not exist. I hate you for making me defend USC but arguments like that make NU and thier fans lok pathetic.

The truth.....no one ever argued that Bushes family magically ended up with alot of money, just where it came from. You are right it probably is from a lemonade stand. The investigation was never finished or deamed unnecesary, just kind of went away, like the girl who Sanches raped. As far as what went on during our dynasty.........we should strive for better instead of having your attitude of well everyone else does it so its no big deal. Winning the wrong way should not go unpunished, no matter who does it. OU got an extreamely stiff penalty for the infractions they had, and they self reported. Calling Bull $hit by its name is not pathetic, acting like nothing happened is.

 

I forgot you alone are smarter than the NCAA and the US justice system.

 

In my opinion this board should deal with how NU should limit its turovers, improve its playcalling and leave USC alleged allegations alone. And, they are allegations. Relax. You have no proof that Sanchez did anything. You have less proof that Bush took money from an agent through USC. Can we please just concentrate on beating them without any outside help.

So sCUm gets slamed for a few free lunches to student athletes and lienhart can let people live in expensive accomadations rent free and they don't have to pay it back untill they have a lucritive pro contract. Seems fair to me

Exactly, its not about sour grapes, its about being fair. Its not saying I'm smarter than anyone, just looking at obvious facts, again they arent arguing whether or not they recieved money, just who it came from.....but youre right, they probably delivered pizzas at night, thats where the $ came from. First of all, I only watched the show one time and that was enough for me. I thought it would be awesome to watch a show in July about College Football. The first and last show I saw was the one wear some Husker fans came on and asked if Nebraska would beat USC and Texas all in the same year. Everyone laughed and said NO! That pissed me off along with Mark May sucking on that huge USC **** that he had in his mouth.

 

An easy win?????? No freakin way, I don't care who you are but Lincoln is sacred ground and you just don't come in and expect a blow out, you expect a hell of a dog fight.

 

3rd of all, who's to say we don't win, last year USC got embarrased by OSU and UCLA, not to mention that the "greatest team in college football history" got hit by the draft.

First of Mark May's opinion is his opinion, which doesnt amount to sh*t... Just gives us more bulletin material!!!!!

 

Second of all last years game was a joke, we didnt go into that game to win we went in to it not to lose too bad... BC didnt want to set the program back so he played not to lose too bad... This year he needs to go in a lay it out there as much as he can, then see what happens... I think we can do it... With the Stadium rockin they wont be able to hear crap... Let em think they are goin roll over us, we like that kind of thinkin cause it usually never happens... We all can talk about this till were blue in the face but till we see em play the first 2 games we dont know what were in for and nor does Usc... I will be at the game an it will be nuts... Mark May is nothing more than Pete Carroll's rectal thermometer. He gets paid not to analyze or commentate, but to be over-zealous and make outragous blurbs. It would not be a surprise if anyone picked USC to win that game, but to say they will win easily (in Lincoln) is simply him showing his bias. Was Herbstreit under the table while May was blabbing, or was he still bitching about how the 71 and 95 Huskers were both voted in the final? These guys are tools and should NEVER be taken seriously.
