maryland husker
Nebraska class - taking a knee instead of adding another 7 to the board to end the game (hey, does guy/gal who predicted closest to 59-10 instead of 52-10 win something? ) App State version of "class" - emptying the bars, living rooms, dorms, trailer parks, etc after the win over "Big Boo" and going to YOUR field and tearing down the goalposts and laying them on the chancellor's lawn. I've never heard of tearing your own goalposts down after an away win, but gotta give 'em credit. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Yeah that's definately different............. Quote Link to comment

I think its great for them to do something no one has ever done (ripping down the goal posts in thier own stadium after an away game) after doing something no one has ever done (1AA beating a ranked D1 team). Not an issue of class, just an issue of excitement. Quote Link to comment

maryland husker
I wasn't knocking them for what they did. I think it is "class" Quote Link to comment
husker rob
hell, the players should have torn down the goalposts at the Big House Quote Link to comment
Redman
What a great win for them. They played their arses off. Congrats! Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt316
No prob with what App St. Did. If you want different versions of class, there's the Husker way of taking a knee so you don't embarrass the other team and then there's the Sooner way of putting 70 on the opposition so you can beat your chest and say you can put 70 on the opposition. General Blackshirt
definitely nothing wrong with it, but i just find it stupid... "Hey! We'r so excited that just had the biggest upset in NCAA history, lets go damage our own stuff and use it as a showcase trophy!" Quote Link to comment

papersun87
USC, after scoring their first touchdown, lined up for the PAT without a kicker and took a delay of game penalty to honor their kicker who died over the offseason. I thought that was a classy move. Quote Link to comment
