TheKiD
At least bring some former players/coaches in to talk to the kids for motivational purposes. Who knows if any former players that were mentioned could coach well or not, but they at the very least would be livid after a performance like... well the last 5, and remind the team what it means to be a husker. REDSTEEL
what do you all think about bringing him in to help the line? I think all his eligibility has been used up for awhile now. Quote Link to comment
hskrdedhed
Will their coach come to Lincoln. Quote Link to comment
Washusker
Come on, guys, I want some names!! Parcells or Schottemheiemer are stupid choices - they wouldn't come here anyway. I want a Ron Prince type. Or a Bob Stoops type. We need an infusion of enthusiasm! Quote Link to comment

hskrdedhed
Larry the cable guy Git r done is a better motto than this team has now. Quote Link to comment
motorboatjonesNU
Somebody before mentioned Grobe - I'd take him. Venerables would be nice, too. And Gill. I was never really for Gill after frank, but I've seen the error of my ways. But in reality, that's 2-3 years down the road. Quote Link to comment
walksalone
Larry the cable guy Git r done is a better motto than this team has now. At this point, he wouldn't even want this job... Quote Link to comment
skersOVRsc
What about the Cincinati, Rutgers, Boise State or TCU coaches, they seem to win pretty consistantly with middle tier tallent by being intense and utilizing thier players strengths. Give me a young guy with some fire! Quote Link to comment
The Red & White Knight
This whole team seems drained of everything, passion, motivation, willingness to improve, EVERYTHING and if last nights game doesn't cause some type of change we have some issues And we can only blame the coaches for this. BobbyNewcombeFan
All I want is a coach who shows some passion and can get the kids fired up to be playing for Nebraska. And also someone who can make adjustments during the game. Quote Link to comment
LAHusker
How bout the dude from Ball State? Quote Link to comment
papersun87
At least most of us are coming out of the Kool-aid induced fog now... I agree. My Kool-aid has run out and I want a refill! I would LOVE a nice swig of Kool-Aid just now . . . unfortunately, I think it will take some much stronger Kool-Aid at this point. I second the nomination for Eric Taylor. He did some extraordinary things with those Panthers! Winning a state championship in his first year with a deer-in-the-headlights sophomore quarterback and all those off-the-field issues? That's a head coach I want! Seriously, though, we ought to take a look at that South Florida coach. I'd also love to have Bo Pelini back, as much as it pains me to admit it. I nominate Zac Taylor for quarterbacks coach, as well. Quote Link to comment
TX-Husker-2011
Paul Johnson - HC at Navy. Quote Link to comment
Husker stuck at kstate
Ok, let's delve into fantasy and think of some replacements for BC. You can nominate anyone, but I'm looking for young, energetic coaches who have never been head coaches before. I want new blood; someone with enthusiasm and swagger and a real desire to achieve. I guess that criteria rules out Art Shell. I vote for Eric Taylor, Dillon Panthers head coach. That guy motivates his ass off. HAHA yeah eric taylor would be a great coach, but he just excepted the job at TMU. Quote Link to comment
