Husker_x
NO STAFF CHANGES! WHAAAAAT??!!??!! Bon Voyage, Callahan! Quote Link to comment
junior4949
I'm guessing there's a better chance of it snowing in Hell this weekend than a win propelling us back into the Big 12 North race! Quote Link to comment
ihartfield
I think its a safe bet Callahan is done! He showed no interest, had no husker gear on, and just seemed ready to get the hell out of there. Quote Link to comment

I haven't seen all of his press conferences but what head coach doesn't at least wear a team polo shirt or something. Adidas would not like that. Quote Link to comment
hskrmama
The Volleyball coach had on his team gear. Quote Link to comment
gratefulhusker
J.B. makes some good points and I like his demeanor...but I think he is high. All smiles. Quote Link to comment
Roxy
In my eyes..he looked very uncomfortable when they brought up Tom Osborne's name! Quote Link to comment
admo
Hmm... sounds like he pulled a scheme out of the ol' playbook. When you are losing, concede with half the game (in his case season) left to play, make no changes, and run the clock out. Because, why try if you believe it's already over. Hate to see anyone lose a job. I really do. But clearly changes are needed. Quote Link to comment
mjmartin1970
I've never, ever believed it good for the program for the HC to be fired mid-season. But if he has given up (a BIG IF), then it should be done mid-season IMHO. Only the AD can determine if he has given up though. Quote Link to comment
I Bleed RED
I think getting rid of him mid-season is better than losing every game by 30+ pts with him as coach. Quote Link to comment
DCHusker
I think getting rid of him mid-season is better than losing every game by 30+ pts with him as coach. But what if it means losing by 30+ points with another coach? I just don't think anyone new is going to get this team back to respectable by the end of the season, whether Watson takes over or someone from outside is brought in. I'd rather wait til the end of the season so whoever takes over can start with a fresh slate. Quote Link to comment
