Husker Deb
They'll say Nebraskans are so bored they had all the time in the world to vote. Since it's too cold to be out on our tractors. Quote Link to comment

REDSTEEL
It might because no one really knew that there was a poll. Hell the guy that had to fix the poll didn't even know there was one until he got a complaint the information was wrong for Osborne. Quote Link to comment
Wally
Congrats to Coach Osborne. But in the end this because a battle of the computer geeks that took the human factor of the voting. I hope Tom never learns how the voting was manipulated. Quote Link to comment
REDSTEEL
No, he'll pop open a beer, chug it down, and pop in the NU 94 season tape, and then go to sleep. Ok, maybe not. Quote Link to comment

I hope Tom never learns how the voting was manipulated. How was the poll manipulated? Anyone who thinks an internet poll is scientific is sadly mistaken. It is a popularity poll where the person who gets the word out (or their supporters) wins. TO's supporters got the word out better than any one else, he won. Quote Link to comment
admo
If you are considered among the top 3 all time, then that's pretty damn good. No questions, Osborne and Bear - those are the best. My biased opinion agrees that TO was slightly better. Quote Link to comment

I guess you didn't see the thread/post about how to setup automated recurring voting macros. Glendower
I thought it was also established elsewhere that it only allows for 1 vote per IP per day. Quote Link to comment
Bleeding Husker Red
Why wasnt Bill Callahan included in the poll? I mean, the guy did an excellent job in every area. Lawl that never gets old. I'm getting a bit tired of it. Tired of even hearing his name. Quote Link to comment
SewardHusker
if you think that espn allowed multiple votes from one IP in a period under 24 hours... you would be wrong. they KNOW that husker fans vote like that. look at the tournament for the greatest college football team of all time... 71 and 95 huskers playing against each other in the championship. TO is GOAT. The End. Quote Link to comment

I See Red People
Tom Osborne is a great coach. Anyone who says he doesn't deserve to have his name with this award is, well, I don't know what is wrong with you. Quote Link to comment
NX014Ever
Ha-ha! Was there ever any doubt he would win? This will really stick in Herbstreit's craw! I love it! Good work everybody! Quote Link to comment
