husker B-rent
that would give us a much more effective offense. Lucky does not cut it as a rusher, Helu is just taking what they give him and more! Quote Link to comment
Always a husker
Helu is the future. Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
Agreed. No reason to start lucky in the backfield after Helu's performance in these first two games. Lucky is only as good as the line in front of him. Helu has a chance to make something happen even when everything is not picture perfect. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
not to be a wise ass, i said that last season.....Lucky is way over hyped. Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
not to be a wise ass, i said that last season.....Lucky is way over hyped. Â Nah, I believe you. Every time I saw Lucky do his dance and dunk routine in the backfield I said to myself, "This is really the best RB we got?" Quote Link to comment

huzkerbob
If you think Lucky is the only problem with our run game, your mistaken. There are much deeper problems! Our O-line is NOT our strength, I'm starting to believe we where getting a lot of smoke blown up our A$$@# in the off season! Â I know it's still early and I may just be impatient. But these guys seemed to have actually regressed, and badly!!!! Quote Link to comment

I have always been pro-Lucky but if Helu can make the plays playing behind the same O-Line as Lucky then I think Helu should be the starter Quote Link to comment
husker B-rent
exactly, noone said that the oline didnt hurt us but they were both running behind that same oline and Helu is better than Lucky......and i am normally a pro lucky guy, but we have a better back in Helu Quote Link to comment
papersun87
Helu takes what he wants seems pretty solid when he can get an opening. I agree, Lucky's got the hands and the speed. Put him at WR. Quote Link to comment
husker B-rent
helu should not only be the back of the future he should be the back of NOW! Quote Link to comment
California Husker
Lucky does have the "happy feet" thing ging in the backfield way too much. And I agree, he is a very good reciever and open field runner...but I don't think he would be that effective at wide receiver. As a running back he is in mismatches against linebackers who cannot cover him. But as a wide receiver, he would be matched up against corners and safeties. I don't think he would have as much impact. He would make a great wing-back, but I guess we don't use a wing-back any more. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
bubble screen guy, that's about it. Quote Link to comment
robsker
not to be a wise ass, i said that last season.....Lucky is way over hyped. Â This will be my fifth post (going back a year now) where I once more state that Lucky is a receiver not a RB. He has not the vision, the ability to follow blocks or the physicality to play RB. But he is really good in the open field and can be a great WR. Quote Link to comment
Dhuskers
put helu and lucky in the backfield and use both. Helu, more often for the power rush or as a blocker for lucky, and do a lot of pitches and passes to lucky. Quote Link to comment
