Ohio Pete
Early still but the Scout rankings for 2009 are out: http://nebraska.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=...=14&yr=2009 Here's how the Big 12 stacks up right now: 3. Texas 7. Oklahoma 8. Texas A&M 23. Texas Tech 24. Missouri 34. Kansas 37. Nebraska 52. Baylor 60. Oklahoma State 78. Colorado 79. Iowa State 85. Kansas State Texas Checks in at No. 3, and they're a team used to recruiting early and often. This year was no different. Of the Longhorns' 19 commitments, 17 were committed before the Spring Evaluation period even started, and all of them were committed by June 1st. On another note, 18 of the 19 are from the state of Texas.More Of course things will change quite a bit as some schools like Florida have less than 10 commits. Quote Link to comment
Danimal
ATM at #8? I'd say that will come down a ways once other teams catch-up in terms of quantity. Quote Link to comment

True, but if they land Michael's that will keep them in at least the top 20. Sounds like another Callahan down there. Can recruit, but may have trouble coaching up his players. Quote Link to comment

Except that Callahan really couldn't recruit that well --- his recruiting prowess is urban legend --- not real but just sounds good. Quote Link to comment

Once again, Robsker swoops in to put his .02 cents on how talentless our team is. Quote Link to comment
