NU Rushing Attacks Explodes this Week

Recommended Posts

Yeah. I think we need to keep with the short passes and run game. Those types of passes are easier to complete and it takes some pressure off Ganz. They can then mix a long pass in every once in a while, but honestly, I don't think that's the kind of offense Nebraska needs right now. We need to control the ball, control the clock, control the amount of times the opponent's offense gets the ball (keeping our defense off the field as much as possible), and then we need to finish each drive with points (preferably touchdowns).

I know alot of people hate this style of offense, but I personally like it. It makes sense and I think it really fits the types of players this offense has. Get the ball to your playmakers and let them do the rest (Lucky, Holt, and Paul have the most potential for making plays in my opinion).

I agree, Michael. I hate the WCO but last week with some zone read sprinkled in, it was good.

NU needs to have a multiple offense if it wants to win. What we saw last week was more multiple.

I hope NU gets the rushing game going this week. ISU's strength is the DE position. If NU can keep those guys guessing, then the offense will look great again.
