BIGREDIOWAN
If we see the same type of offensive game plan this week I think we'll really move the ball on ISU. ISU is probably a little confused this week since we have ran two different offensive game plans this season. The one last week is obviously the best of the two. Quote Link to comment
Igetbored216
Yeah. I think we need to keep with the short passes and run game. Those types of passes are easier to complete and it takes some pressure off Ganz. They can then mix a long pass in every once in a while, but honestly, I don't think that's the kind of offense Nebraska needs right now. We need to control the ball, control the clock, control the amount of times the opponent's offense gets the ball (keeping our defense off the field as much as possible), and then we need to finish each drive with points (preferably touchdowns). I know alot of people hate this style of offense, but I personally like it. It makes sense and I think it really fits the types of players this offense has. Get the ball to your playmakers and let them do the rest (Lucky, Holt, and Paul have the most potential for making plays in my opinion). Quote Link to comment
indianahusker
I agree, Michael. I hate the WCO but last week with some zone read sprinkled in, it was good. NU needs to have a multiple offense if it wants to win. What we saw last week was more multiple. I hope NU gets the rushing game going this week. ISU's strength is the DE position. If NU can keep those guys guessing, then the offense will look great again. Quote Link to comment

admo
To the OP "NU Rushing Attacks Explodes this Week" I wouldnt mind seeing that happening. Just not as easily convinced. It would be great to see a steady improvement. GBR! Quote Link to comment
Captain K
Doesn't matter if it's running or throwing as long as they don't throw a bomb on the first play of every possession like they did in Ames that year Dailey was qb'ing under Callahan. Still confused over that one. Quote Link to comment
