clone
The line will change by saturday. I expect NU to beat the spread. BEAT OU!! Quote Link to comment
HuskerTrucker
I would like to win, but even if we beat the point spread, I would be happy...OU is a good team. I hope we go in and play to their level, no matter what happens, it would be a step in the right direction for this program. Quote Link to comment
Igetbored216
If there's one team I wouldn't bet on, it would be the Huskers. They are way too unpredictable this season. Quote Link to comment
cmb23
OOOFFFF!!! Not horribly surprising though. All I have to say is that the secondary better have their necks loose because they're going to have their heads on swivels all game long. Quote Link to comment
huskered17
This game was counted as an "L" before the season started, and it would take the almost perfect game, Bo talks about, to win. Don't think it will happen. Still think the K.ST game is the difference maker in our season. They worry me. I hope we put up a good fight against Oklahoma this week. GBR!!! Quote Link to comment
TheKiD
I'm betting the farm that we cover. One interesting thing this season is that NU is really hard to predict --- that is, will the Huskers play w/o penalties, without turnovers and with few mental mistakes? If so, then NU easily covers that spread. If not, they do not. OU is a little unpredictable too (well, their offense is predictably good at all times) --- but their defense is sometimes good other time awful. So.... who knows? I think it really, really unlikely that we win --- but to cover the 21.5 points is something that I think we will do (unless we do the turnover thing and kill ourselves with penalties). Ok, so I don't actually have a farm to bet. But, I have a really good feeling we keep it within a couple scores. - we've kept it fairly close the last two times we played them 14 & 7 points - from the TT game we seem to play well on the road - OU has had some rough patches with their D and we should be able to put up points - we've played well against TT, UT, and OU over the past few years... and we're better this year! - we don't have to face a mobile quarterback, all 3 of our losses this year have come against dual-thread QBs That and just the general feeling that despite a crappy first half against Baylor.. this team is clicking. Edit: Oh, and if the spread gets much lower than 21.5 I'm not going to be so confident.. but I definitely think we keep it a two possession game at least. Quote Link to comment
