TheKiD
I'm betting the farm that we cover. Quote Link to comment
husk3rf8n
Sadly, I see no way we cover! Quote Link to comment
huzkerbob
Sadly, I see no way we cover! Many said the same about TT!!! Given the beatdown they put on KSU, it could be worse. I'll put a couple shills on my boys to cover though! Quote Link to comment
fro daddy
sounds about right for the opening line. THe cover boils down to the OU D. They have given up a lot of points at times this year. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirtsguru
Yeah I am not too shocked about the opening line. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
We'll have to see how Coach Pelini says practice goes this week. That has been a good indicator this season how the game goes. Quote Link to comment
melscott62
a little high. the KSU score was 23 points and I think we are at least a score better than them Quote Link to comment
REDSTEEL
I'm betting the farm that we cover. Hope that it's not a very big farm. Quote Link to comment
robsker
I'm betting the farm that we cover. One interesting thing this season is that NU is really hard to predict --- that is, will the Huskers play w/o penalties, without turnovers and with few mental mistakes? If so, then NU easily covers that spread. If not, they do not. OU is a little unpredictable too (well, their offense is predictably good at all times) --- but their defense is sometimes good other time awful. So.... who knows? I think it really, really unlikely that we win --- but to cover the 21.5 points is something that I think we will do (unless we do the turnover thing and kill ourselves with penalties). BIGREDIOWAN
I think that's a little large, but I don't mind us being the underdog, that way we can sneak up on some people. Quote Link to comment
huskerswrkhavoc
as some of our kansas fans would say...... vegas is giving away free money this week boys. just kidding. but i think we keep it close, simply because their D has been less than stellar Quote Link to comment
NUpolo8
Ouch. I think I know better, but I'll be watching and hoping. A win would be fun. Quote Link to comment
Danimal
We'll have to see how Coach Pelini says practice goes this week. That has been a good indicator this season how the game goes. True OU's D has been struggling, we should put up some points. Hopefully we can do what we did against TTech, chew clock like a muther and keep our D off the field. If we can do that we should stay in striking distance. If we give Bradford and Co a lot of chances with the rock they'll get momentum going and light us up. Quote Link to comment
