BigRedPowerWagon
this blows I disagree. It's a chance for our country to change direction in one very significant area: foreign policy. I won't argue with too many of President Bush's economic decisions (I'm serious), but foreign policy and his attitude towards other countries is one that will definitely be perpetuated by Sen. McCain and Gov. Palin. It's a highly arrogant way of dealing with other countries that is simply going to continue creating enemies for us. No empire is strong enough to overcome the accumulation of enemies created. Diplomacy nope obamas Foreign policy stinks... to be fare so did GWs, and McCain's Obama supporters always throw the change in there. Obamas gonna take a dollar and give us back some change. huskernumerouno
I will wait and see but the democrats will have no one to blame but themselves as they control almost everything now. Their help evryone approach is bull sh#t and I want people to earn their keep not wait for hand outs. I hope things end up better but I doubt it happens. I respect the office of the president but I do not respect the man yet. He has to earn that. Link to comment
bennychico11
And america had the most deployments since WW II. Using our military to make nice with the rest of the world is a sh*t idea. according to this Clinton had the fewest deployed troops than any President since 1969. anyway, I voted for Obama....and I'm excited to see where this country is going to be headed. And if history is any indication, there will be more money with a Democrat in the White House. Link to comment
bennychico11
I think liberties and ideals are much safer with the Obama win. especially the American ideal of anyone of any race, belief, sexual orientation, gender, etc. can become anything they want to be. That has just been proven with this election and I think will be even stronger from here on out. Link to comment

President Obama has my support. I agree with you there. Can't do much worse than his predecessor. Obama is not necessarily a home run pick, but I think he was better than the alternative and apparently many others agree with me. I am anxious to see what he can do. He seems to have a lot of ambitious ideas, let's see if they become feasible, are supported and become implemented. I support President Obama as well. Link to comment

hosker
I am still amazed America voted for a socialist to be the next President of the United States. my sentiments exactly, the only thing thats worse is even if mccain was pres we'd still would've been voting for socialism..... seems like washington dc has already "changed", the only thing i feel that could get this county back on track now is the second amendment(i'm probably one of few who feel this way) Link to comment
holvy83
Socialism!! Really?! Huh, guess everyone who chose to use their power with the right to vote thinks our country needs to be ran by a socialist then. Time to get things united, the more apart things get nothing will get better. I can start singing we are the world if that helps! Link to comment

In her first weeks on the ticket Palin was touting how proud she was that Alaska "shared the wealth" and that Alaska is sometimes refered to as the "Socialist state". It took America only a few weeks to forget that and she was so adept at spinning it the other way. Link to comment
