I actually think he has a chance to make a team. Take a look at some of the QB's starting or at least making an NFL roster: Sage Rosenfels, Alex Smith, Rex Grossman, Kyle Boller, Joe Flacco, Tavaris Jackson, Chad Pennington, Trent Edwards, Tyler Thigpen, Brody Croyle, Gus Frerotte, Dan Orlovsky, JT O'Sullivan, Ryan Fitzpatrick, JaMarcus Russell and the scum Philip Rivers (God I hate him). Watching some of these guys play is like watching the Special Olympics. One giant cluster f@ck!! They don't make their reads, they take too many sacks, they turn the ball over constantly, and worst of all, they all lose!! I think Joe is cerebral enough to learn any offense and once he does, he has enough skills to accomplish the task. Teams need to quit focusing on the so-called "prototypical" size and arm strength they seem to value so much and focus more on the player himself. Some guys have it and some guys don't. Just because you have the size and the arm doesn't mean you can make the right decisions, lead a team and win games. If you watch enough games, as I'm assuming most general managers do, the players that win become fairly obvious. The only setback for Joe maybe the sheer # of quarterbacks eligible for the NFL this year. The Big 12 is stacked with talent and then you have the rest of the world, HA HA!! Anyways, I hope he gets the chance to play.
