trouble
Both Browns consistently nailed 50+ yarders. Hmm, I don't recall that, but I'll take your word for it. Are they brothers? They are not brothers. Josh Browns long was 58yds, and Kris Browns was 57yards. They were some of the most accurate kickers in Husker history. Link to comment
SouthBayHusker
WTF? No Bryan Bennent from the 1993 team!!!!! Link to comment

Henery had one game where he kicked 4 40+ ydrs and a couple of others, i think, where he also kicked 4. But the Browns were the best, no doubt about it, I thought they couldnt top Kris, then they bring in Josh and he's better it seemed. Link to comment
Dundermifflinite
From Huskers.com: Scoring Career Points: 388; Kris Brown, PK, 1995-98 Points Per Game: 9.2; Bobby Reynolds, HB, 1950-52 (23 games, 211 points) Touchdowns: 61; Eric Crouch, QB, 1998-01 Points By Kicking: 388; Kris Brown, 1995-98 (217 PAT, 57 FG) Conversions: 217; Kris Brown, 1995-98 (222 att.) Field Goal Attempts: 77; Kris Brown, 1995-98 (57 made) Field Goal Percentage (min. 10 att.): 75.0; Dean Sukup, 1978-79 (12-16) Consecutive Field Goals Made: 17; Kris Brown, Sept. 20, 1997-Sept. 12, 1998 Kris was more consistent in college, even though Josh has had a little more prolific NFL career. Also, whoever above stated that they had hit 58 and 57-yeard field goals, respectively, would have both happened in the NFL. Kris Brown hit a 51-yarder and a 50-yarder while in school. While I don't know his long, Josh Brown did not make a 50-yard field goal at Nebraska. As far as Henery is concerned, he has the potential to be the best in school history, but I don't think you can crown him with that title yet. Maybe, "most clutch kick in school history." default_28
I voted for Kris, I thought he should have won the Groza his senior year but they gave it to someone else, Gramatica I think, instead. Link to comment

trouble
I guess I failed to mention that their longs weren't while they were in school. I was going by both their college and Pro careers in my decision. Link to comment
UGAHusker
Where is Dale Endorf? You have to have respect for a guy who can come in and be the Huskers' high scorer in a Nebraska-Colorado game after a Josh Brown suspension. Link to comment

WIHusker
Why is Congdon even one of the choices? Career stats: 24-30 in FG’s and 86-88 PAT’s. Holds the single season record for most FG’s at 19. Plus he was a Freshman All American. That doesn't mean anything if you can't hit from more than 35 yards. Link to comment
gobigredkent
I don't think you can go wrong with Kris or Josh. I voted Kris because of his stats. By the end of Henery's time at NU we may be rethinking our picks... Let's hope so. Link to comment
