husker B-rent
http://www.columbiamissourian.com/stories/...i-running-game/ its hard to argue with the stats coming from the hometown MU newspaper...! Quote Link to comment
knapplc
He can't say anything other than that if he's honest. They've underperformed. Maybe it's the O Line, maybe Washington is dinged up some, maybe the new O Coordinator isn't setting the RBs up right. Whatever the reason, it's clear their running game has taken a step backward this year, and that's not comforting heading into conference play. Quote Link to comment

kansas husker
Well, I'm not impressed with ours either Helu leads the big 12 in rushing and until devine went off tonight he was tenth in the nation what part of that is not impresive. Or did a mizzou fan steal your login..... I smell sabatoge Quote Link to comment
WCHusker
Sorry, disregard-I'm brain dead tonight. Sleep deprivation makes me goofy. Quote Link to comment
Igetbored216
Rushing is not important. Go...I mean, Gabbert can just throw for 400 yards a game and continue to be perfect all throughout Big 12 play. Nothing to worry about here! Quote Link to comment
Twodocs
Well, I'm not impressed with ours either We really have the players but it would be so nice to see the fullback involved in the red zone and develop Rex B. and the other backs against the cream puffs on the schedule. We need to be using fresh legs who would be game tested for the Big 12 campaing. Helu is it. And Rex has shown he could put up the numbers as well. We really have the lines we have needed both on offense and defense. as the song says "LET'S GET IT STARTED" Quote Link to comment

rcruter
did you watch the cu/wvu game last night? they don't do anything particularly well. as for MU's running game? It is not as good as in yrs past without question. Just not getting open holes and Washington, one of top backs in conference lst yr, isn't running well at all. Can it be fixed? No idea, not crazy about the scheme myself. Backup Rb is freshmen from TX who is like devine, small and a blazer who has had good success, had two td's called back off long runs by penalties, has had a habit of tripping over yd markers, I kid you not! If he can keep his feet he would be a grt compliment to the bigger washington. as of right now I don't think they will have much success running against huskers line. Quote Link to comment
