irafreak
One of the article linked on Huskerpedia mentioned he did have ice on it after the game. Quote Link to comment
cscott2win
I doubt ice would be applied for a broken collarbone. Anything real serious and I'm sure it would have been in a sling immediately. Quote Link to comment
GBRNUFAN
Other than being sick he is fine, i talked to him yesterday and he said it was just sore cuz he got hit. He is still sick but had pedialyte (used to rehydrate) and meds with him so he should be doing better in the next couple of days. Quote Link to comment

AngryHusker88
any chance he was hurt earlier in the game also because burkhead was getting a lot of early playing time. Helu was sick, that's why we saw Burkhead more. Agreed. Im starting to think that may be the reason why we were so conservative on the run during the Mizzou game.... Thats still no excuse for the poor playcalling. Rex Burkhead should've been given the ball WAY more than he was, he was the only offensive player that did anything in the 3rd quarter. I'll take a 2 yard gain anytime over an incomplete pass. I guess Shawn Watson wouldn't. Quote Link to comment
T_O_Bull
They said on Big Red Wrap up that he is fine it was a minor stinger. Who said it was a minor stinger? I don't trust anything Bo says as it relates to injuries/sicknesses. There is a pretty good pro coach who doesn't give up too much information about injuries and the like, his name is Belachick, and like him or not he'a been fairly successful.
