mitch7
To me it seems like Nebraska is lacking that big play guy. Every once in a while someone will step up, but there is no consistent playmaker. Saying this do you think there is someone on the roster that has the ability to become a game changer like for example Reggie Bush or Percy Harvin were? Quote Link to comment
rawhide-jr
Have you heard of Suh? Our playmakers don't have to be on offense... Plus, someone steps up on offense every game, so who cares if its the same one every week? It just makes it easier to stop our playmaking ability if there's one... Quote Link to comment
mitch7
I' am sorry I meant to mention on offense of course the obvious playmaker is Suh on defense. Quote Link to comment
TheCheshireCat
You have to be impressed with Paul considering he brought down two huge catches that led to us winning. Also, it was rainy and Helu had the flu. I'd call him a gamechanger too. Quote Link to comment
Alex 4.0
As far as receiver is concerned. It's tough, because whoever it is they HAVE to be good at blocking... We won't play receivers unless they block well. A receiver that makes all the catches and has that GREAT speed and change of direction is hard enough to find, let alone one that can block. I think the best position for us to find a bigtime player is at the RB position. Quote Link to comment

huskerguy
Harvin and Bush are a rare breed... I think Helu is a big enough play maker when healthy, and our WR's seem to step up when they need to. Quote Link to comment
Danny Bateman
Paul could pick it up this season and make the OP eat crow... Whether he will remains to be seen, but it could happen. I'm also happy to finally just have a deep threat in Curenski Gilleylan. Quote Link to comment
Alamo City Husker
A playmaker is only as good as the play that gets thrown his way.(Offense) You have to play to the playmakers strengths in playcalling to give him the chance to make the play!!! Quote Link to comment
