unl123
Why are the voters asking for everyone else to pick for them? Quote Link to comment

knapplc
Why are the voters asking for everyone else to pick for them? Because it's a really close race this year without a clear-cut winner from an Offensive position, and they're so unused/uncomfortable with voting for a defensive player that they're willing to let the fans have a vote. HuskerfaninOkieland
Why are the voters asking for everyone else to pick for them? Personally I think it's a great idea. How many years have fans complained about who won the Heisman and how the Heisman is a popularity contest. This is sort of a way for the fans to have some input, however little it is, into who should win the Heisman. Quote Link to comment

MKO
Why are the voters asking for everyone else to pick for them? Personally I think it's a great idea. How many years have fans complained about who won the Heisman and how the Heisman is a popularity contest. This is sort of a way for the fans to have some input, however little it is, into who should win the Heisman. I'm torn on it. On one hand it's good for the fan perspective, but on the other it's extremely susceptible to automated voting, cookie-clearing, multi-voting shenanigans that the internet allows. It's no longer about who you think is best as it is a test of which homers can spend more time on the internet voting for their guy (or against an opposing team's guy). I personally feel that Suh is the best football player out there, but even if I thought someone else was better, I'd still vote for Suh...because I'm a homer. That's why I don't completely dig the fan voting option. Quote Link to comment
agibson95
I submitted my vote. I sure hope that Tebow wins, I felt so bad for him when I saw him crying on the sidelines. Quote Link to comment
