In the Deed the Glory
3 of 4 guys said they picked SUH!!!!! for Heisman....gave me chills. love SUH. he might have a good chance to win it. 2 picked Suh. Woody Paige and Bob Ryan. Tim Cowlishaw picked Gerhardt 1, Suh 2nd, Ingram 3rd. Jay Mariotti voted for Ingram first and Suh second. Tony said forget the Johnny Cash song, it's a man named Suh. Paige said the most outstanding player in college football this year was Ndamukong Suh. Quote Link to comment

In the Deed the Glory
those guys get heisman votes? OH ya, those are actually some of the most respected sports writers in the country. Bob Ryan is probably the most respected. Woody Paige is up there so is Cowlishaw. Marriotti is an opinionated loud mouth, but it sells papers so he is well known for that. Quote Link to comment
JTrain
Maybe we can make this into a single thread for national media mentions. Instead of starting a new thread, considering there will probably be 20 different mentions on all the various sports shows over the next three days. PTI just said Suh doesn't have a chance to actually win because of the bias against defensive players. Wilbon said he would like to see Suh get it, but seemed to think the actually chances were about 1%. Kornheiser said 0% chance. But they both were very complimentary towards Mr. Suh. JTrain
Final Heisman Watch on ESPN is out (Experts Poll). Gerhart and Ingram tied with 55 votes and Suh came in a close third with 50 votes. McCoy 31, Spiller 15, Tebow 11. One of the 15 voters didn't include Suh in the top 5. http://espn.go.com/college-football/heisman/ Quote Link to comment
whateveritis1224
Mariotti doesn't have a vote, but I'm pretty sure the other three do. Cowlishaw and Ryan are probably the only ones 100%. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
This is an ideal year for Suh to win this because there hasn't been a single offensive player to stand out really. Quote Link to comment
irafreak
Just think if we could've kicked a field goal one of those 5 chances against ISU, not had the oline self destruct in blacksburg on 1st and goal, and ...oh pick one from the texass game..... Quote Link to comment
