Enhance
Didn't look at the original article until just now, but yeah, it would probably be ok. In theory, it would also help to have some extra time to prepare for Texas, but that didn't end up working to well against Texas Tech during this past season. We just didn't match up well at all with Texas Tech under Mike Leach. I'm glad that man is gone. Agreed. Leach was a master at what he did, and no matter what we tried we just couldn't pull out a win against him. Huge thorn in our side. We'll have to see how Tuberville does down there. I'm inclined to believe he won't be overly successful simply because I have a pre-determined notion about coaches like him: getting fired from one job for losing doesn't give people a boat load of confidence that you can get the job done. Vince from ShamWOW
My wife and I went to the Rice game after 9/11 which was on a Thursday night. It was the only time I saw Crouch play in person. "Man, that kid can run" is the first thing I said to her when I saw run him run. Quote Link to comment
Chucktown Husker
Yup, they're scared. Damn straight! AND THEY SHOULD BE!!! HEY TEXAS!! You might be able to delay the inevitable, but be it Thursday night or Saturday afternoon, Longhorns! OCT. 16th 2010 you're a$$ is grass! Quote Link to comment
huKSer
I don't know why there is so much hate for Thursday night FB games. Hell I think the more CFB is televised the better! Uuuuuhhhhh, Friday morning at work? I have to get up reeeal early. Quote Link to comment

When we play them in a couple of year I dont want to hear thier excuses about not having their coach and we would have won if he was there. That being said Tuberville is an SEC coach and I suspect he will be albe to get some stuff done. All the coaches and cooridinators that come from the Sec to the Big 12 have found success.
