One Not Coming

I've seen some grumblings on other boards about us being after Xavier Grimble. I have not been following this situation at all.

 

Any legs to the grumblings besides posters? Keep us informed, E! Interesting news!!

 

I think that the Xavier thing was just wishful thinking by a poster or two.

 

Our chances with Jalen have increased lately though because of the sanctions on USC.

While this is true, that doesn't mean Cotton isn't a solid player. Ben wasn't highly recruited because he committed to Iowa State before his junior year when Barney was there. When Barney lost his job, many thought he was an Iowa lock. Louisville did a very good job recruiting him and got his commit before his senior year. Ben didn't open anything back up until Barney got brought back on, so he didn't get much buzz.

I know losing Harper sucks, but I'm alot more worried about Braylon Heard.

 

is it true he's not coming or is it still rumor?
