Husker Z
Lavonte David and I want to see some WR establish himself as a go-to guy on 3rd down. That's something we were completely missing last year. The year before Ganz had Swift and Peterson as security blankets and you always had confidence on 3rd down that they would find that imaginary yellow line. Kinne seemed to step up to that position last season, late, but I want someone to step up and be Martinez' security blanket in tough situations. GO BIG RED! Quote Link to comment
Born and Bred 2 Be Big Red
Is Moore or Steinkuhler gonna light it up beside Crick? Starting LB'ers fast and flowing to the football like animals? Amakamura and Dennard the best cb's in the country? Who are the starting safeties and how do they look? Kinnie and Niles? Helu is finally healthy, will he take it to the next level? Burkhead a beast as always. OFFENSIVE LINE OFFENSIVE LINE OFFENSIVE LINE Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Alex Henery kicking 60 yard bombs in warm ups. During the game I want to see Niles Paul light it up against a horrid defense. Seriously hope Paul gets a chance to. We have a weapon like that, he should be getting 9 targets a game. Quote Link to comment
Born and Bred 2 Be Big Red
Most simply put, this offense better do something, and the defense will be business as usual. I can't take another year of watching the 102nd ranked offense in the country. Quote Link to comment

I am hearing so many different things. I have heard that we may not even see Lee in the first half; that it may be TMart in the first quarter and Cody Green in the second. Quote Link to comment

Born and Bred 2 Be Big Red
Jason Ankrah and LaVonte David Good one with Ankrah. I was really big on this kid when we got him........he's got that redshirt year out of the way, I hope we see him. Let's see Meredith light it up too. This defensive line should be an unblockable monster. Quote Link to comment
np_husker
I would love to see Helu have a big game and start the season right. He's been one of my favorite players the last few years, even though he hasn't always lived up to expectations. Quote Link to comment

The only way I see the scenario you guys are talking about playing out is if Martinez and Green are in close competition for the starting job. Quote Link to comment
shyndy
i wont lie, i want to see the qb play. but also im anxious to see what the oline looks like. now, our oline should be able to crush wku even if they suck so maybe it wont mean much. Quote Link to comment
skerman
uuummmm.... 1. T-MART the guys got some serious wheels. how is his in a live game? 2. Lavonte remember some body named demorrio Williams? 3. O-line finally healthy(kinda of) Quote Link to comment
redout22
LB's and TE's. It will be interesting to see which LB's step up and see who plays well. For the TE's I want to see how much Reed has improved and I want to see if Cotten is worthy of all that hype from the offseason. Quote Link to comment
huskerscott
I really wanna see how Cassidy will do now that he is do more playing time. Curious see how our LB rotation is gonna go and I wanna see Enunwa play some meaningful snaps. Gilmore already said he is gonna play this year, I hope its just not all on special teams. I hope Eric Martin decapitates some one kickoff and maybe get a blocked punt. Quote Link to comment
