The Maudfather
What's the early spread for the game? Quote Link to comment
BigRedNV
Was just at the casino (Reno, NV) at lunch today and it's NU by 9.5 pts. Quote Link to comment
HuskerT
Was just at the casino (Reno, NV) at lunch today and it's NU by 9.5 pts. I get nervous with spreads like that. Not that I don't think we can win by 9.5pts, but a point spread like that against a proud program like Texas gives them all the motivation they need. Having said that, I'll give my prediction.......... Huskers 28 Texas 17 Quote Link to comment
NUance
The spread is starting out at 10 points. I doubt we'll see much tejas money coming in this wek to lower it. Quote Link to comment
Husker Z
Normally a team like NU would start out giving 10, just because of the homefield advantage. So, in my mind, Vegas thinks this is going to be a hell of a football game. Quote Link to comment
ESPY
10-pt spread sounds about right to me. Honestly I'm surprised it's not more considering Texas is the butt of jokes and we're the punchline. Quote Link to comment

I would guess that number could fluctuate a bit, depending on the actual field. A line of 9.5 seems similar to last week's game where Vegas was begging people to bet on KSU, predicting us hammering them, this week seems reversed, seems like they want money to fall to NU, because they think the opposite could happen. I don't care how or how much we win by, I just want a win, I can't stomach another kick in the nuts by a Whorne, ugh!! Quote Link to comment
