Uh oh, Cousin Eddie's in trouble. Dog the Bounty Hunter is going after him.

The only thing that could make this potential episode even better is if Quaid went into his classic Cousin Eddie character.

Randy Quaid and his wife Evi will be released from custody on $10,000 bail each after a bizarre run to Vancouver, British Columbia Canada, allegedly seeking protection during an immigration hearing on Friday.

Oscar-nominee Randy Quaid, 60, and his wife Evi, 47, have been a Hollywood D-listed version of Bonnie and Clyde now for several years, skipping checks, walking out of hotels, squatting and acting strange. Together they asked for protection at a Canadian Immigration and Refugee Board hearing in Vancouver on Friday afternoon.

They were arrested in Vancouver on immigration violations earlier this week.

The Quaids reportedly "fear for their lives" in the U.S.

The Quaids' lawyer read a statement saying the couple was seeking asylum from "Hollywood star-whackers."

Evi claimed that nine close friends of her husband were murdered, including actors David Carradine, Heath Ledger and Chris Penn. Despite the fact that Carradine hanged himself in an auto-erotic situation, Ledger took too many pills, and Penn succumbed to heart disease.

The Canadian government wants to keep them close for fear they'll run. Evi is claiming her health is an issue.

Earlier this week a judge in Santa Barbara issued $50,000 bench warrants for the couple after skipping an arraignment hearing in their felony burglary case.

The Quaids are accused of squatting in the guest house of a Montecito home they formerly owned in the 1990s. Evi Quaid resisted arrest at the time. The home allegedly was damaged by the Quaids.

A&E star and celebrity bounty hunter Duane 'Dog' Chapman issued a public challenge to Quaid and his wife Thursday night, urging him to turn himself into U.S. authorities or face being a segment on his hit show.

"At least do it for your wife and for how you were raised. If not, the Chapman family is coming after you," he said to George Lopez on his late night show, Lopez Tonight.

Holy sh#t, nothing this insane could actually be real! Right?

As for Dog, he is a scumbag for the same reason "Dr." Drew Pinsky is a scumbag. They pretend to care about people and their well being, when all they really give a damn about is celebrity and the cash that comes with it.

I don't know anything about Dog, but Dr. Drew is at least full of solid information. Love Line is still one of my favorite shows of all time, and I'll even hunt down MP3 rips of it to listen to here in dreary old Lincoln sometimes. Dr. Drew may have gone too commercial (I don't know, since I don't watch his TV shows), so I can't comment on that. But LL is still the s**t.
