Mizzou is incapable of pounding the ball with any regularity, and hadn't looked incredibly strong this season, with the exception of last week. Hard to get up for 2 huge games like that, and they weren't up to it today. They forget to run and fall in love with the pass, even when running the ball can work. I'd like to say after taking care of a top offense one week and a top defense the next, that I won't be nervous next week, but it's just how the seasons have been falling lately. When I talked to MU fans about the game I admitted we weren't consistent. But we came out first quarter and just pounded away. LOVED IT! I didn't expect MU to run all over us, just that we would have a challenge. Glad that we were able to shut down Gabbert....that's all we needed to do. Quote Link to comment
