Ratt Mhule
Every year, the Big 10 and ACC teams play against eachother in basketball and add up the combine records of all the teams to see which conference wins the challenge. Can you imagine if we get to play Duke or North Carolina in Lincoln one of those years. North Carolina being my favorite college bball team, Im stoked at maybe an opportunity to see them live. I never thought Nebraska would ever get the opportunity to play teams of that caliber before. Kansas is a great basketball team, but Duke and UNC have a certain aura about them I guess you can say. Count 'Bility
Im not sure but i think/and it seems that the pairings are based upon how good the teams are, meaning i think it may be based on previous years standings? But playing a Duke or Carolina would probably not happen, but as said im not sure. Quote Link to comment
killer cacti
LOL. You have to be the top few in the Big 10 to play the top few in the ACC. Clemson gets Michigan this year. Quote Link to comment

redout22
I would rather play Big East but ah well. ACC is a top tier league too so I will be looking forward to it. Quote Link to comment
GSG
This will be the last year that one ACC team has to be left out of the Challenge. If we were already in the Big Ten, we'd be playing Miami this week probably lol Quote Link to comment
PaulCrewe
NU will annually play the likes of Miami, FSU, Virginia, and Va Tech in the challenge. Would hate to see a top tier ACC team's RPI to unecessarily suffer by playing NU Quote Link to comment
killer cacti
I'm going tonight, guys...Michigan @ Clemson. Look for me on tv at 9pm est. Quote Link to comment
Emperor Brutus
It will take a few years but I'm sure you'll get there. Penn State was absolutely atrocious at basketball when they came in. They've improved steadily to the point where they can help in the challenge, the Nits won their first game in 1999 then lost until three years ago and now they've won three straight. If the challenge had been going longer they would have been dead weight for at least the first five years they were in the conference. Anyway, good luck because next year we need to win seven to win, man ties are going to be lame that sucks. Quote Link to comment
huskerswrkhavoc
I was watching the NC Illinois game earlier and was thinking about the challenge.. and to everyone saying that NU has no prayer to ever play duke or NC... NC weren't exactly world beaters last year... they finished 9th in the ACC... we could easily finish 9th if we get a little bit better.. so it's not like it's impossible. Quote Link to comment
kansas husker
I wonder what they will use the first year we are in the challenge, our big 12 ranking? Just start us off at 12th? Quote Link to comment

Good question, I could see em just starting us off at 12, or projecting our conference record in win % wise and see where it ranks.. it'll be nice to have all 12 ACC teams be able to play in the challenge finally!
