BIGREDIOWAN
They did an AMAZING job getting that field ready that quick! Not worried about our game at all now. Quote Link to comment
mmmtodd
i dont mean to say i told you so...but... water is water: if something is saturated and cant take anymore, it doesnt really matter if there is 1 inch or 9 feet of water standing on top of it--it cant get any worse. it just looks more dramatic. they had a big, fast, pouring rain...on a field with quite capable drainage built in. theyre pros, for crying out loud. if it rained every day like that and was played on everyday, then maybe they have a problem. it didnt, and its not likely, and we saw the result tonight. im a farmer. dirt and water is my life. zoogs
Since every other thread has it..... Shawn Watson left the hose on. It was only the hose Bo used to hose Zac Lee with. Sorry, had to. Quote Link to comment
Hujan
We had some good sunshine in San Diego today and will again tomorrow, I believe. I'd say we should be good to go, except that more rain is forecasted for Wednesday. I'd rather not have the game in the rain like last year. Quote Link to comment
HUSKER 37
I think they should move the Holiday Bowl game to Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, AZ.. You know..Just to be safe. Quote Link to comment
skersfan
Current weather forcast has clear skys until Wednesday and then showers for Wednesday only, mostly sunny on Thursday with a high of 56 and a low of 44. Will most likely be kinda chilly for the game as it is a late start for the Holiday Bowl. Could get foggy by the fourth quarter for sure. I am sure it will be perfect for our game. huKSer
We could be playing in one and a half feet of snow like Kansas St Quote Link to comment
