ladyhawke
This caught my eye this morning as I was perusing The Bleacher Reports. I was sure the Huskers would be mentioned in there somewhere and was pleasantly surprised to see just how high in the 'moments' we were! Check it out! http://bleacherreport.com/articles/600672-college-football-the-50-most-important-moments-in-college-football-history#page/47 Quote Link to comment
Apathy
To have the 2001 Miami Hurricane team and the 2010 Auburn Tigers within the mix but not including the 95' Huskers is a complete joke. EPIC FAIL Quote Link to comment
ADS
The Bluegrass miracle? Tim Tebow speech? Texas's TV contract? Auburns National Championship? What a pile of crap, maybe the worst list I have ever seen. 1 Quote Link to comment

EPIC FAIL No kidding plus Nebraska moving to the Big 10 was much bigger news than Tebow's speech. The author must be an SEC man/woman? Quote Link to comment

huskeraddict
BR is a joke in general Quote Link to comment
walksalone
I think the 95 Husker team would choke the life outta the '01 Canes team. It would be fairly close at halftime, then the ground and pound would become too much for those coke snorting, hepatitis stripper banging 'Canes. And, as previously mentioned, it is the Bleacher Report, so 90% of the poll is crap. Quote Link to comment

I believe that the guy who wrote this is a Texas fan. If you read the description for #3 on Bud Wilkinson coaching the Sooners he pointed out that he liked that story and was hard for him to say that because he's a Longhorn fan. Quote Link to comment

BornRedCornFed
its a decent list, but idk if its even possible to compose an accurate list of the most important moments for the overall sport. i could see making lists for individual teams, but this is covering a lot of territory Quote Link to comment
krill
The 71' OU and Cal vs. Standford games were well before my time, and they certainly deserve to be high on the list, but the 07' Fiesta Bowl was screwed all the way down at 27. That was the craziest, most exciting game I've ever seen and I don't even like OU or Boise. It was also a big moment for college football because it proved a non-AQ could roll with a top tier program in the big game. If Boise had been crushed we wouldn't even be talking about non-AQ's being hosed by the BCS system. Quote Link to comment

I truly think people over exaggerate the importance of that game Quote Link to comment
