Nexus
Howard Chen's Twitter: Former Bama FB Mike Marrow (@centralcatholic HS) is NOT transferring to #Michigan. RichRod firing opend it up. Is now headed to #Nebraska LINK Mike Marrow's Bio Quote Link to comment
Danny Bateman
Well, we shall hope this works out better than our last transfer. Or at least Mike doesn't end up in such a poor place in life that he feels the need to sue the NCAA over a video game. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
good deal, bring him on, we can use him right away. Quote Link to comment
Nexus
FYI, this is Vince Marrow's son. Vince is the TE coach for Omaha Nighthawks. He's also an old childhood friend of Bo since they played football together at Cardinal Mooney. He was also Kevin Williams' high school coach during the 2009 season before taking the Omaha job in 2010. He was instrumental in putting Williams in touch with the Nebraska staff during his recruiting process. Quote Link to comment

corncraze
I'm confused. Google says he was transferring to Eastern Michigan. Is he in EMU? This guy says so http://easterneagles.wordpress.com/2011/01/06/reasons-to-doubt-the-mike-marrow-transfer-rumor/ Also, didn't he miss the deadline for transferring this semester? Quote Link to comment
Hercules
Doesn't make much sense... Where would he fit in our offense? Quote Link to comment

I can't answer any of those questions, but something to consider is that the source (Howard Chen) posted this info. an hour ago, so it's fresh news. Those articles you're referring to are from January 2011 and Sept. 2010. I imagine Howard Chen is reliable since he's the Sports Director at Fox News in Toledo, Ohio. Furthermore, he was also one of the first people to predict that Kevin Williams would commit to Nebraska a week before it happened. Quote Link to comment
huskers1
Has a damn good frame for linebacker in the big ten. He must be pretty athletic if he had offers from bama us and penn state. I'd be pretty happy to see him come to NU although I don't think he'd be playing fullback. Quote Link to comment
husker_hurdler
interesting..........will have to see how this plays out Quote Link to comment
Red Tape
Could fill the void of the BIG running back that Dontray left. But he wouldn't be able to play until 2012 season... correct? Quote Link to comment

Skull&Bones
4th down on the 1 yard line, who you going call? A thumper in your pocket never hurts. Hope this is true, would love to see him pound it up the gut old school. Quote Link to comment
dizzturbedNUfan
Doesn't make much sense... Where would he fit in our offense? What is our offense? Seems I remember a change happening. Quote Link to comment

Spread option, which is by all accounts what we're going to be running. I don't see many fullbacks at Florida or Auburn or Oregon. Quote Link to comment
