T_O_Bull
As fans we are worried about our Sunday delight from late August till mid-February. 32 owners and 1,600 players are worried about what to do with $9,000,000,000.00 (I should have this problem). No one talks about the people who will be hurt the most by this NFL mad-ness. What happens to the working stiffs who make all this possible? You know, the parking lot attendants, the beer and hot dog vendors who work the crowd, the clean up crews and the grounds keepers. To go even a bit further, how about the wait staffs and bar maids of tens of thousands of sports bars from Miami to Buffalo to Seatle to San Diego to Dallas to Green Bay? These people count on the Sunday games to help feed and clothe their families. None of the talking heads talk about these folks. These folks are the real victims of this madness. How many of us would want no more than a sky box seat on Sunday if we owned a team? 32 Idiots and 1,600 residents of the asslyums, absolutely cannot convince myself that these owners and players are worthy of their good fortune. They should all have to work the grave yard shift at the local 7/11 for a month and then write a 5,000 word paper on the subject of how blessed they are and how they don't deserve any of it. NUance
Somebody will blink. I'd wager this won't affect even one regular season game. Quote Link to comment
krc1995
I shouldn't even have an opinion on this, but of course I do. My gut is to side with the owners. I mean, well ran teams are suppose to make profits, right? Quote Link to comment
