Scarlet Overkill
First kickoff in the Eagles' preseason game - he put it 8 yards into the end zone. Living in Eagles territory, I certainly hope he does well, or I'll have to hear it from my in-laws. Make me proud, young man! Quote Link to comment
zoogs
Now it's a fair question: why didn't we play our new guy at punter last year, redshirt Adi and put Alex on kickoffs? I was against it at the time, but... Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Now it's a fair question: why didn't we play our new guy at punter last year, redshirt Adi and put Alex on kickoffs? I was against it at the time, but... Adi wanted to redshirt, Bo wasn't having it. I don't think Bo had much faith in him as a place-kicker. Edit: plus, I really doubt we had a better punter on the roster than Alex. Quote Link to comment
Foppa
Not an Eagles fan, but will pay attention to them as a Henery fan, hope he does well, he should have a good team around him. That said...not too confident *yet* about Husker kicking for this year. Hopefully it doesn't put more pressure on us to put it into the endzone all the time, but if Beck's offense can do it, I'm all for it Quote Link to comment
Scarlet Overkill
The announcers did make mention of Henery's accolades - "The most accurate kicker in NCAA history". And yet no Groza award... Quote Link to comment

HuskerT
I know David Akers signed with another team so is Henery expected to handle the everyday kicking duties? Quote Link to comment
okaive
There was a thread in here earlier that said he is doing two of the three, but cannot remember which ones. Quote Link to comment

I don't think he'll be the punter, but so far it seems he'll do the place kicking and kickoffs. They have a rookie punter, last name is HENRY. Quote Link to comment

HuskerT
Is he expected to handle the everyday kicking duties this season? If so he's a lock for my fantasy team. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
FFToday.com rates Henery as the #2 fantasy kicker, with a note marked 'upside'. (link) Nate Kaeding for the Chargers is #1, and Stephen Gostkowski of the Patriots is #3. Quote Link to comment
