carlfense Posted August 26, 2011 Share Posted August 26, 2011 -Martinez will not stay healthy with no real backups. -Offensive line is going to be terrible with little experience and Barney running the show. -1 receiver that has more than 1 catch in a game. -1 running back with experience. -D line is overrated except for crick -david is only proven linebacker. -dennard is only good secondary player. -New kicker and punter. -Toughest schedule in big 10 -New coaches. -Too much preseason hype. -Unfamiliar with the teams they will be playing. -Nebraska isn't built to stop big 10 teams. -Nebraska isn't used to the hostile environments of the big 10. I agree with most of the points this guy makes honestly. As big a Husker fan as I am, we have a lot of questions to be answered. The QB situation is definitely an unknown. Nothing known behind Martinez. Carnes could be something special. WHO KNOWS? The offensive line sounds like it will be full of youth, and that could be trouble. They won't necessarily be terrible though. Their inexperience may show up at times. I believe in Rex Burkhead. I guess the rest of your points are all exactly why I am so excited to watch this season play out. So many questions to be answered. A lot of opportunities for the Big Red to step up on some big stages. Gonna be good, definitely worth watching and I will be watching every single one of them. That is the point of this whole thing.
