bournehusker
I'll take the blue angels but if a b1 bomber or two flys by ill be happy. At afterburner I know of no military aircraft as loud as a b1. Quote Link to comment

bball_backer
How about a platoon of paratroopers jumping out of blackhawks onto the field? that sounds B*d*ss I have a cousin who said he was notified he's being considered as one of the guys to jump for a Husker game this year, but he didn't know any specifics. Sounds like you may get your wish Quote Link to comment
knapplc
The jump team didn't jump to start the show this AM, just one guy. They took that C-130 for a 30-minute flight and only dropped one guy. I was watching him climb and climb, and I saw these two dinky little planes behind him and I was thinking, "What are these guys doing? Taking pictures?" They were two of the stunt planes, and as the parachutist dropped they spun around him making circles in smoke: They followed that up with a few other planes, then they let an F-18 Super Hornet rip up the sky for a while. I missed another GREAT shot because my camera sucks, but I got this one: Quote Link to comment

knapplc
Any accidents? I'm not too far from the road from the Highlands to Kawasaki, and there have been two emergency calls since the flights started today. People are rubbernecking at the planes and crashing into each other. Quote Link to comment

I get off work at 5, and I live on 27th and highway 2, I'm praying my drive home isn't as bad as I am expecting. Quote Link to comment
alairguard
Just for pure BA sound I always loved F-18s , nothing sounds as loud or pissed off to me. So the blue angles would be my #1 choice. What happened to the F-22s? The F22s are currently grounded by the AD due to malfunctions/problems with the oxygen supply units. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
If the Blue Angels do fly by, I'll bet it looks something like this: Quote Link to comment
