tschu
If it weren't a night game I would freak out if they flew another Stealth Bomber over like they did against Kansas in 08. This was wicked and was honestly one of my favorite Memorial Stadium momemts ever in my short 5 years of being able to go to games. Someone pointed up towards north stadium and everyone was just lost it. Very, very cool. Maybe for tOSU? Quote Link to comment
wildman
All six of them just took off about ten minutes ago, wheeled around the air field and came back, south-to-north, then peeled off one by one with all six afterburners facing my house. They didn't even have them opened up and it was LOUD. If you're in Lincoln right now, go outside and look up. They flew off over the city, and they're probably going to come down O Street in formation like they did five years ago to "announce their presence." man I work over by the Verizon building in the highlands and I can't see or hear anything here Quote Link to comment
knapplc
They took off about an hour ago and as near as I can tell they haven't come back yet. Maybe they landed on the south side and I didn't hear them. Quote Link to comment
ZRod
'08 was pretty sweet! I remember it the same way and you looked up and there was this black mass just floating towards the stadium. Couldn't even hear the thing until it was half way over Quote Link to comment
Hammerhead
F22 Raptors? In a 4G, inverted dive.....at a range of about 2 meters. Only way this could be better is if Maverick is flying upside down and Goose gets a good picture of the stadium. Negative, Ghost Rider. The pattern is full. I think another B2 Spirit flyover would be awesome. Quote Link to comment

epocSoN
Bo is riding with the Angels today, I'm jealous that my buddy gets to film it from another plane. Quote Link to comment
Lyons in the Sea of Red.
They are tearing up the skies of Lincoln right now. Quote Link to comment
jsneb83
I was walking to class when they flew over. My god they are loud. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Some pics of the recent practice run. And as I'm posting these they are rattling my house again. I missed a fantastic picture of one of these guys flying on his wingtip just outside my back fence because my camera doesn't prepare itself for the next pic fast enough. I need a new camera. 808Husker in KCMO
What am I missing on flyovers? I just don't get the fascination. I understand their value in regards to training but what gets people so amped over seeing some planes? IMHO, Rotary Wing flyovers are much more impressive. Even then, I tend to yawn at the idea. Lyons in the Sea of Red.
Damn nice shots Knapp, I sat on top of the parking garage just east of the embassy and watched them before I had class. I shot this video real quick as I was scrambling, I missed the opportunity of some real low shots. Edit:Evidently I am still not intelligent enough to make the video appear in the post. There is the link. Quote Link to comment
