huskerdan64
You won . You came prepared to play and it showed. Nebraska played like they thought they would win the game by just stepping onto the field. Doesn't work that way, you cannot overlook any opponent, Nebraska seems to do that way to much. mjmartin1970
Definitely!!!! Lose your star 1st string QB and still pull off the win. Hats off. Quote Link to comment
TomDace
Welcome to the Big 10. Everyone has those "wtf was that crap" type of losses to Northwestern from time to time. Next week they might go out and get whipped by Rice by 50 and you'll be more confused. It's what they do because they are a pesky gnat that you think you should beat but they jump up and bite you where it hurts. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
You have to hand it to em. They punched us squarely in the mouth then kicked us when we were down Quote Link to comment
WYHusk
Yep. Once again Peliniball comes into play, and we come out flat at home, and lost to an overmatched opponent. Nicely done, NU, for being the next line to figure out the formula. Quote Link to comment
Treand3
Well deserved win Northwestern. Quote Link to comment
Foppa
Yep...Congrats. Another purple-clad Wildcat team to piss Nebraska off. Why should that ever go away? Seriously, nice job Northwestern, good win. Quote Link to comment

redout22
Agreed, they played smarter than us today.. Really out-did is in all aspects of the game Quote Link to comment
TaraTony
Yep...good win to a mediocre team. Every year we'll hear about "the process". Guess this is part of it? Quote Link to comment
krc1995
Salute!! You beat us using our own game. Tricky! Quote Link to comment

gin_32
Congrats on not backing down to the Huskers at home of all places! This one hurts and not sure where this team is going after this... Quote Link to comment
CheeseHusker
It is puzzling why they aren't better than they are. Every time I watch them, they seem like they are pretty fundamentally sound. Do they not get as much talent? Fitzgerald's a very good coach; I've always respected his ability. He managed to exploit Nebraska's weaknesses to a T. It worked. Quote Link to comment
