Say what you want about Jorge, but this team is at least 3x better with him on the floor. Our defense right now is pathetic.

Don't say that...Defense is Doc's forte. That's why NU hired him.

It is, and his defenses up until this year were pretty respectable. This year he turned his focus toward offense, and look where we are now.

I was being sarcastic, but I know you know that. And the sad thing is...the offense has been really bad...I know you know that too. Geez...why am I even posting lol

Remember in HS or college for some of us, your coach before the game would have a game plan that usually involved them saying, "There is one guy we DO NOT want to let beat us, and that's number whatever". Well the one guy on that team you do not want to let beat you went off tonight. It never shocks me anymore to see the opposing team's best player putting up big numbers against Doc's teams. That falls under focus, and focus is a result of a team giving a sh#t. As many have said this squad has checked out. Robbie Hummel is a HELL of a player, and will get his, but the number of WIDE open looks he got tonight is insane.

Secondly, if Doc was focusing on offense this year, remind him not to watch junior high girl basketball teams in the offseason.

Looks like Doc isn't giving next years coach any help with the young kids. Down by 17 with a 1:40 and the fing

starters are still in. Doc has to go!!!!!!

I didn't even notice that, but you're right. I did hear David Rivers' name mentioned at one point, but he certainly hasn't allowed the youngsters to play even in the biggest of blowouts.

Just did a little checking and he doesn't use his bench in blowout wins either. Against Illinois, Caleb Walker and Bo Spencer both logged 30 minutes or more. Niemann led the second tier guys with 8 minutes and none of the other backups even played 5 minutes. Considering how old this team is, you'd think he'd get the youngsters some junk time.

Also, did Doc CALL a single timeout? If he did it was late in the 2nd half when I stopped watching.

C'mon...it's not like it's a NU football game and Bo leaves the starters in during a blowou....umm...oh.

Doc and Bo are supposedly good friends. Their complete lack of interest in playing reserves seems to be a something they've bonded over.
