zoogs Posted April 5, 2012 Share Posted April 5, 2012 My guess is they didn't have a solid enough succession plan in place after Tolzien, and then two very talented transfers fell into their lap. Wilson more so than O'Brien but O'Brien's got skills. It is very easy to strike out in QB recruiting or to have a lack of depth, so this gives them extra years to find and develop a solid successor option. Quote Link to comment
