Danny O'Brien To Wisconsin

My guess is they didn't have a solid enough succession plan in place after Tolzien, and then two very talented transfers fell into their lap. Wilson more so than O'Brien but O'Brien's got skills. It is very easy to strike out in QB recruiting or to have a lack of depth, so this gives them extra years to find and develop a solid successor option.

What's the recruiting picture like up in Madison that they have to get merc QBs two years in a row? Is everyone injured or have they just recruited a bunch of mediocre quarterbacks?

We've recruited solid QBs for our system but they've been injury prone
