I have a thing about knowing what i am eating and that alone take many things off this list that will NEVER enter my mouth. Others are just because of lack of opportunity. I havent traveled a lot, and in some cases have just never tried things. I was a pretty picky eater until i reached my late teens. Quote Link to comment

knapplc
On your list, which thing that you haven't tried are you most interested in trying? For me it's probably Haggis. I've heard so much about it that I'm dying to find some. But there aren't really any good haggis purveyors in Lincoln. Quote Link to comment

GSG
I was looking up some of this stuff and for sweatbreads it was talking mostly about different glands, but also mentioned Rocky Mtn Oysters. Do y'all think it counts? Quote Link to comment

NUance
I'll be a lot of people have had spaetzle (#90) without realizing it. I mean, about half the people in Nebraska have German ancestry. And spaetzle is a staple of German cuisine. Quote Link to comment

I think when you're talking about Rocky Mountain Oysters, you're specifically talking about the testes prepared as a separate thing - deep fried, served with dipping sauce, etc. Sweat Breads are typically a ground-up mash like a pate, with various bits thrown together to make the batch.
