Rhassell
Where has he been lately? Last couple of games he has not been a factor. Is he in the dog house? He's the best back at NU now. Maybe he needs to come back south Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
That's the $64 question. I figured pinned deep that he would get the ball out of the danger zone and give us some room. Is he hurt? Disciplinary? Just a poor decision? I don't know. Quote Link to comment
sewardite4NU
I agree that he should have been used when we were on our own 1 yard line. When we were on their 1 yard line I agree with what the coaches did by leaving in Ross. The thing is though, if Cory Ross can't get one yard on one play, not many people could. Both of those safeties were the O-Line's fault. You could have put LenDale White back there, but with the blocking that occurred on those two plays, the result would have been the same. If I'm not mistaken, Cody Glenn didn't have one carry in today's game. Brandon Jackson had more touches than he did, which I don't mind, but this does make someone kind of wonder. HSKRNOKC
Him and Lucky next year sounds GREAT to me. Quote Link to comment
StillWatchin
I can almost promise it isnt a behavior problem that is keeping him out...I actually cant think of a reason...I'm not a Bill Callahan fan...and some on this board are so I wont say what I want to...but I think it is retarded that Glenn isn't getting the ball more. I really think or hope to see Nebraska next year...and the next...and the next have the running game like Auburn had last year with Cadillac and Brown (I believe)....both great backs and BOTH went in the Top 5 in the NFL draft. If we have that with Lucky and Glenn it'll be great. Also I'd like to see Lucky at a slot to use more of his speed. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
well if you watched Auburn play last night, you know they have a great O line.....WE NEED TO GET AND DEVELOP SOME O LINEMEN! that folks, should be our main focus for the next several years, along with a cople good TE's and a couple good DB's ......... hunter Quote Link to comment
rawhide
Those appear to be the core needs of the team right at the moment. Quote Link to comment
New Husker Fan
Seems to me if you have a crappy O-line you should have your biggest and strongest running the ball. Common sense should tell you that. Quote Link to comment
Pedro Guerrero
Didn't he come in against KU and fail to get 1 yard on back to back plays. When you are a power back you have to make those plays. He is just a freshman he will see more time the next three years. Quote Link to comment

But its not Glenn's fault that when he comes in they know exactly what play is coming...using him as a decoy or giving him some off tackle or to the outside plays would open up more yardage for him. Then yall, and the rest of Nebraska will see what "C-Train" is about. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
i agree, they got to work him into the offense more.....get him out in the open where he can receive the ball....wide pitch outs, that sort of thing...... hunter Quote Link to comment
never summer
I think I read on another messge board that he hurt his foot in practice. So maybe its just a little tender but not bad. Quote Link to comment
DaveH
Again, he'll get his carries. It's different when you have a group of talented backs, not just you. Especially when one is a senior and has been a leader and a mentor not only to the backs, but the team. Quote Link to comment
