Ciante Evans helmet damage

Recommended Posts

It looks like Ciante was shaken up a little bit on the play. Since his helmet didn't come off during a play I wonder if he could of stayed in the game with a replacement helmet.

He still would have had to come out. You have to go out for a play if the trainers come out and they call an injury timeout.

I was gonna start a new thread about this but this is as good a thread as any to add to. Do you think the new helmet rule is having a positive effect? Is it me, or does it seem like there are far fewer or any at all helmets coming off during games anymore? Do any of you think coaching staffs all over the country have cracked down on their players to get the helmets strapped tight for fear of losing a key player for a play at a critical point in the game? I think so.
