iamthenorm
Looks like nhl to Las Vegas is a done deal. http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/report-nhl-expansion-to-vegas-a-done-deal/ What do you all think? Quote Link to comment
walksalone
I think that there are too many teams as it stands right now. I think they shouldn't be worried about expanding. You could pair it down to 24 teams, increasing the level of competition, and I think strengthening the product. 2 Quote Link to comment

iamthenorm
I think some teams need to be relocated, but expansion isn't the answer Quote Link to comment
walksalone
Here's been my idea forever... Get rid of the Panthers and Lighting (do we really need hockey in Fla, no), nix the Coyotes, Predators, Hurricanes, and Islanders. Take the players from those teams, put them in the draft pool, and allow the bottom 8 teams 4 draft picks to improve their squads. Eastern Conf - Boston, Buffalo, Ottawa, Montreal, Rangers, Devils, Philly, Pittsburgh, Washington, Columbus, Detroit, Toronto Western Conf - Winnipeg, Chicago, Minnesota, Colorado, Dallas, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, LA, SJ, Anaheim, St Louis Quote Link to comment
GSG
Does Hockey Need A Warning Track? A large number of hockey's spinal-cord injuries occur when a player goes head-first into the boards. Now, a partially paralyzed former player wants to outfit rinks with a "Look-Up Line," which he says would give them a visual warning. [USA Today] Quote Link to comment
