TAKODA
If Bo plays an injured Martinez again, then I will have lost all support for the guy. We knew going into this season that the defense was going to be pretty bad due to youth. What we didn't know was going to happen was a nagging injury happening to Martinez that has limited his performance. If we would have kept focus against UCLA and played TA and RKIII against Minnesota, we could be undefeated right now. What needs to get fixed is our staff getting outcoached by lesser teams in terms of talent. If we fire Bo, we have to lure away an overachiving HEAD coach from a smaller school. I knew the Callahan experiment was going to be a complete disaster when Peterson's offers were being turned down over and over and we had to settle for our sixth best pick. Sad, but fact! The Dude
Just for fun, because that's what we really need here, would you trade that Minnesota loss for a win at Michigan? I'm not sure I understand the question. Is a loss at Minnesota a lower low or is a win at Michigan a higher high? I'll have to defer to Carl Pelini. 2 Quote Link to comment
Guy Chamberlin
Just for fun, because that's what we really need here, would you trade that Minnesota loss for a win at Michigan? I'm not sure I understand the question. Is a loss at Minnesota a lower low or is a win at Michigan a higher high? Yeah. Pretty much. Back when we were still fairly optimistic, we'd chalked up a win against Minnesota and a loss against Michigan. So before we write off the whole season, why not hold out for that win against Michigan? It would probably be more fun than a win against Minny and a loss at the Big House. My Michigan buddies are always more paranoid than Husker fans. They're always predicting a meltdown of their own, and they've been embarrassed a few too many times at home lately themselves. Red is Power
Really really proud of the way the team responded in this game. Defense had their backs against the wall quite a bit I absolutely loved the energy the defense brought. The d-line + the blitzes we brought worked out very well. Seemed like late in the game NW QB's were rattled. We needed this game and this could be our turning point. Bo, you and your team certainly deserve to celebrate but please do not let it turn into a hangover, keep this thing going!!! Quote Link to comment
Red is Power
A lot of posters who were negative in this thread this time after the Minnie game are now lining up behind Bo. It's a great thing but I hope the team does not get ahead of themselves and treats Michigan St the same way they have treated NW & Mich. One game at a time. That is all we can control at this point.
