ZRod
Offensively we started off better than 2012. Defensively we are playing HSers. Not even an insult, our defense is littered with freshman. Post injuries it's definitely tougher. I'm convinced the first team to 40+ wins And that's not an indictment of my thoughts on your defense, it's just how we have played all year I just think, with our without Murray, its going to be a good game, and to write of Nebraska either way is just senseless. This is going to be a dogfight. If our defense can play like they have been in these last 5 games, and our offense can at least hold onto the ball, we will have a ball game. It just all comes down to Tim Beck (OC), and how he calls the game. Keep the ball on the ground, hit the edges and make Georgia's defense spread out, Ameer could do damage. Our biggest problem is going to be stopping Gurley. That has been our issue these past few games, is stopping a power back. We limited Weisman to 75 yards, which was a shocker, but Zach Zwinak and Jeremy Langford got us pretty good. Either way, this game can easily go either way. I tend to agree, I like our chances and all cause I am biased but the spread in my opinion doesn't do the game justice. It's gonna be a battle and Nebraska has the motivation to avenge last year. Hope Richt can get the boys ready. I am tired of starting flat and having to rely on comebacks like our past few games. I can admit that if you have to come back against Nebraska that will be rather difficult. We may have a lot of close games, but when it comes to coming from behind only one team has been able to do so. They did it in spectacular fashion though. Quote Link to comment

They also come from the best conference IMHO. Quote Link to comment
huskerhandy35
Last year, before the bowl game, I tried to join the UGA board in SEC Rant but it was too difficult to join, due to having to post in a certain forum asking to be allowed to join and then getting approved by an administrator seemed impossible? Then I went to a general SEC forum and was treated horribly by some Florida Fan who was totally disrespecting the Huskers by saying we are nobody's now on the national stage and haven't been relevant for decades, blah blah blah. Then this guy follows me into the UGA board somehow where I posted asking to be approved and was "doggin" me in there to all the Georgia fans. Makes me proud to be a Husker Fan since I can honestly say, we ARE the classiest fans in the country! NOTE: I want to be clear that I DID NOT have any trouble with Georgia Fans being disrespectful! So, I give props to all you Dawg fans for being good sports! Quote Link to comment

McDawg
If you guys still had Murray we would have no chance at this bowl game...just saying. Yep, because we had no chance last year? IIRC, it was neck and neck all the way until Ameer fumbled. ALSO, Georgia had MUCH more talent on both sides of the ball last year than they do this year. Please correct me if I am wrong Dawg fans. WE ALWAYS HAVE MORE TALENT THAN WHOEVER WE ARE PLAYING!!!!...but in our case it is like having too much bourbon and viagra at the same time. Quote Link to comment

Last visit was probably in '09 or '10 though. Thanks to both of you guys for his service and both you sacrifices, hope he stays safe. We may have played ONE team more talented than us this year and that's a close one. It would have been UCLA though. Quote Link to comment
