Sometimes I really just need stories about how there are some good things happening in our society. LINK I work with and am around teenagers a lot since I have three. I have thought for a long time that teenagers in my town are, in many ways, much more responsible than we were at the same age. Link to comment

Ulty Posted May 27, 2014 Share Posted May 27, 2014 I work in the child protective business, which until this year in Nebraska included juvenile delinquents/status offenders (they now go straight to Probation instead of to Health and Human Services) - and for the most part, the teenage state wards I have dealt with, except for the ones who are serious psychopaths, tend to be more responsible and more mature than their parents.
